I’m Merridew” He wants to be treat like an adult so he want the others to call him by his surname . Adultly “Then we’ll have to look after ourselves” In this quotation we can see that Jack is not behaving like a child or a teenager he is behaving like and adult. Aggressively “Alright then, sit down, let him alone.” Here we can see that Jack don’t like people that are weak.
