In chapter 8 Jack decided to be in his own with Roger, Simon and his hunters. They found a bigpig which they kill and Jack said that he will prepare a feast and give the pig’s head to the beast.
Ralph made a fired of which Jack took some branches to have fire as well and he said that anyone that wants to join him can do it and be in the feast, Piggy who was in the platform was scared he thought Jack was going to do something bad but Ralph told everyone that they must keep the fire going to be rescue, the fire was first.
At the end if the chapter Simon who was speaking with the Lord of the flies when all this happened was looking at him listening to all that the Lord of the flies was saying that he will have fun, that he is like Ralph and Jack but then the Lord of the flies started to disappear and Simon was inside his mouth then he fell down and lost consciousness.
